1. Our Commitment to Quality
At SoLight, we take pride in the quality of our solar lighting products. If your item is found to be faulty within the warranty period, we will take full responsibility for repair or replacement at no extra cost to you.
2. Warranty Coverage
- All SoLight products carry a limited warranty (please refer to the product page or packaging for specific duration).
- The warranty covers manufacturing defects and product failures under normal use.
- It does not cover damage caused by:
- Misuse or abuse
- Water damage (unless the product is specified as waterproof)
- Attempted repairs by third parties
- Normal wear and tear
3. Return & Assessment Process
If you believe your product is faulty and still under warranty:
- Contact us at info@solight.co.za or +27 21 201 1243 to report the issue.
- We will arrange free collection of the product from your address.
- The product will be assessed by our technical team.
- If a defect is confirmed, we will either:
- Repair the product, or
- Replace it with a new unit (depending on the nature of the fault and stock availability).
- Once repaired or replaced, the item will be delivered back to you at no cost.
- Timeframe
- Assessment and repair/replacement typically takes 5โ10 working days from collection.
- You will be kept informed of progress at every step via email or phone.
5. Proof of Purchase
To initiate a return, please ensure you have:
- A valid proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice)
- The original product or packaging reference (if available)
